Terms of Sale

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the sale, by DYN SERVICES UK LTD("BimDecode"), of VIN decoding reports and of credits used to obtain those reports, and of Apple CarPlay activations, for BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce and ALPINA vehicles.

2. Service

Structural VIN decoding is free. The paid report (factory configuration) is delivered digitally, viewable online and downloadable as a PDF. The data comes from third-party sources; it is provided for information only, without any guarantee of completeness or absolute accuracy.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency, including applicable taxes where relevant. Current offers: single report from $8.99 / £6.99 / €7.99, full report with service history from $27.99 / £21.99 / €24.99, credit packs, and Apple CarPlay activation (price shown in your currency on the CarPlay page). One credit unlocks one origin report. Payment is processed online through our secure provider Stripe. Credits do not expire.

4. Delivery

The report is made available immediately after payment is confirmed (or after a credit is used), online and as a PDF.

5. Right of withdrawal

For digital content supplied immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once performance has begun. By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the report is unlocked. Unused credits remain refundable under the applicable law.

6. Apple CarPlay activation

BimDecode sells an Apple CarPlay activation file (USB method) or code (cable method), generated for the VIN entered by the customer using data from a third-party provider.

• This product is intended for professionals and experienced users and is sold without technical support. Installation (USB stick, ENET cable, software) is carried out by the customer, at their own risk, following the supplied instructions and the installation guide.
• Before ordering, the customer must check that the vehicle has a compatible screen (EVO ID5 or ID6) and choose the method, navigation region and steering side that match the vehicle. An error in this information does not give rise to a refund.
• The file or code is delivered immediately after payment. The customer expressly requests immediate delivery and waives the right of withdrawal. No refund is granted once the file or code has been delivered, without prejudice to the statutory conformity guarantee.
• If the vehicle is not recognised when the activation is generated, the order is refunded automatically.
• BimDecode is not liable for the consequences of an installation that does not follow the instructions: power loss during writing, interrupted update, later re-coding of the screen, and so on.

7. Complaints and refunds

If a technical problem prevents access to a paid report, contact contact@bimdecode.fr; we will re-deliver the service or refund the credit concerned. Where the data source returns no vehicle for a covered VIN, the payment is automatically refunded.

8. Online dispute resolution

Consumers in the European Union may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Liability

BimDecode provides an information service and cannot be held liable for purchase decisions made on the basis of a report. BimDecode is independent and not affiliated with BMW AG or the other brands mentioned.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the buyer's country of residence.
